Why Hello Walvis Bay Flamingos!

After a wonderful stay in Swakopmund, we visited the flamingos in Walvis Bay, Namibia.

I had never seen flamingos in flight...

and it was so cool...yet strange and funky at the same time.  Somehow graceful and awkward.

The flamingos were beautiful.  It was so nice to see so many even if the amount was small for Walvis Bay.
So different than the first flamingo I saw.  In Senegal of all places.

Strange how it makes you want to feed it shrimp, lots of shrimp,
to make it a dazzling pink
